Coach McClanahan's 8th grade boys' team, Coach Slay's 8th grade girls' team, and Coach King's 6th grade boys' team each recently won their respective divisions in the 2009 All-Net National Tournament in Southern California. This is a three-peat for Coach McClanahan's team, whose cumulative game record is 15-0 for tournament play. Also making a good showing was Coach Brown's 6th grade girls' team.
A few weekends later, Coach Martinez's Division 3 girls' team took the 2009 All-Star National championship! Coach McClanahan's Division 3 boys' team made a respectable showing by taking 2nd place.
Regardless of standings, we appreciate all our All-Net and All-Star teams for their efforts at the National tournaments. Thanks to everybody who represented Vallejo — players, coaches, and especially parents — for making it happen!
